SMALL TBI Pro-Style 23 in. STAKE OUT with Swivel & Chain

Quick and easy to stake out dog.

I was worried about these holding my biggest dog at our trial, but they worked perfectly. They are superior quality stakes and the customer service/shipping time was top notch, even with some custom collars in the order. Thank you!

I now have two of these that stay in the truck with a small sledge. They're long enough (the regular 30-in. version anyway) to hold in any ground I've tried so far, including grass, rocky soil, sandy soil, and packed dirt/gravel at a campground. The chain is a good length to allow some movement to get comfortable but not long enough to get the dog wrapped up. The dogs figure the situation out pretty quickly and are able to settle in. This gives another option besides the kennel in the truck when there's no shade in the parking lot, and is also great for tying out to rest the dogs during breaks hunting. Much better and more versatile than tying a dog to a trailer hitch and then tripping over the leash. One piece of advice - unclip the chain before pounding the stake in. If not, you'll ruin the snap clip on the post side. I forgot this (twice...) and now just have the chain fixed to the stake's swivel with a quick link. This works fine.

Purchased 4. All arrived undamaged and quick. Initially we didn't put the 1st into the ground far enough and my dog bent it at the bottom while using it as a back tie for bitework. (Operater error) They are all in the ground 3/4 of the way and at a angle. They work better than expected. Super happy, I'll be purchasing more.

This simple design goes back decades to the guys that wrote the books on training. The chain is perfect length, swivels everywhere it's supposed, and you can pound it into just about anything with your 5lb hammer. Some future civilization, thousands of years from now, will study this stakeout and hopefully determine that this mobile training tool was where dogs got over their anxieties and learned to "sit with themselves," were fed in front of motels, and napped under shade trees. To me, it's just as important as any collar, lead, or launcher.

The 30" model is much better than the 24", which I've had a dog pull out of the ground before. the orange coating is well done and seems super tough.

This is my third order for my third dog!! Love everything about this tie out.

Do not consider it. Buy it. Just perfect

The stakeout is well made, but it is too tall. When I try to hammer it into the ground, there's too much sticking up in the air and the dog is able to pull it out. I should have gotten the shorter one.

Well made and works as you would expect. Most importantly, my dog immediately respected this unit and calmly lay down. It is perfect for NAVHDA testing, and even in your back yard.

Have not used it much but so it has worked out great for me.

Quality materials, heavy duty, swivels and clasps work as advertised. I use it for training and during Hunt tests. The chains are a perfect length for teaching dog that they need to stay and be calm in a small but safe and shaded location while waiting their turn to go to the line. After using just 2 days during training sessions then going to a test both of my dogs were calm and well rested for the weekend test. Big improvement on their attitude and performance compared to being in the kennel while waiting.

Hardy stake with swivel allows for good movement. Easy to hit into ground.

Extremely happy with this purchase, it was my first time using a tie out stake. My puppy took to the process and product easily. The comfort of seeing the dogs range on the stake and knowledge that she was secure lessen my anxiety. I would high recommend this product to anyone for either hunting or home use.

I had to look for a swivel stake for my goats, and they're dairy breed so not the typical small under 100 pounds size. They are a minimum of 120 pounds weight and even though my husband has tried to use his concrete stakes to tie our goats up with, they would either pull them out of the ground or they were able to pull the chain off the stake. So far these are a favorite and have not had issues. I only did 4 stars due to the chains being so short, but husband was able to switch the chains around easily. If I could, I'd give a 4.5 stars out of 5. We love these stakes for them so far.

Saw this stake out at a NAVHDA event a few weeks ago, and others like it. I like the owner feedback I got and blaze orange color.

I've used a lot of different stake-outs over the last 25 years and absolutely nothing holds up the way the TBI Pro-Style Stake Out does. If you want something that's going to last a long time, it's worth every penny.

This is extremely heavy-duty and well built. The chain and clasp are also well built and easy to use. In hard ground, make sure to carry a large hammer to secure.
