Versa Launch 4 Shot Launcher KitLets you remotely launch dummies accurately and easily.Restricted shipping. ONLY available in US48 via Ground Shipping. Cannot be shipped USPS. Choose REGULAR 7" White Canvas Dummies or add $12.00 for LONG 10" White Canvas Dummies with Flags. Some assembly required. The Versa-Launch from Retriev-R-Trainer lets you remotely launch dummies accurately and easily with distances ranging from 100' to 200' by using different power loads and dummies. The Versa-Launch base can accommodate up to 8 launcher tubes that are individually adjustable vertically and can also be rotated 360 degrees. Base dimensions: 18" x 21" x 1.5" NOTE: When training on water, make sure the launch tube in each dummy is dry before re-launching. If water is in the launch tube when the dummy is placed on the launcher, it can enter the firing port, drowning the load and causing a misfire. We recommend having multiple dummies available so the wet ones can dry between launches. Requires Dogtra, RRT, Garmin, or SportDOG remote release electronics. Versa-Launch 4-Shot Combo Includes:

Versa Launcher is a great product

Versa Launcher is a great product. I have been using two base both three shot for a year and have had one minor problem with a servo. Product support has been awesome as well and sent me a servo to replace. Great product!

Versa Launch dummy launcher

I have a 4-shooter Versa Launcher which I've been using 2-3 times per week with my retriever training group for about 3 years. I've been reasonably well pleased with the launcher.

I really like mine
April 3, 2024
These have been very reliable for me. I really only have one thing I would like to see and that would be a more weighted dummy so that it more resembled a hand thrown bird. If you have to train regularly by yourself, you can still simulate multiple gunners. They are reliable out to 400 yards and although there is a little learning curve to using them, they are a good fit for me. My two year old lab has finished 2 junior and two senior hunt tests and he got a 4th and 2 jams in the derby.

The only issues I've had were my own fault! Low batteries on remote or forgetting to cock or setting dial.

Hands down the best!

I have used and been around several bumper launchers over the years and this one is by far the best new bumper launcher I have found. I have the base with 2 launchers. It is great to be able to adjust the trajectory on both, in multiple directions to set up different singles or a challenging double for my dog. It seems very well thought out and put together. After several uses my only complaint is I broke one of the plastic lock down nuts. But after a quick trip to the hardware store and a 50 cent wing nut I was back in business.

Great training product

I have three launchers on one podium and they are an excellent training tool for my two labs. When I first bought the product I had a faulty solenoid, but the manufacturer sent me a replacement solenoid and walked me through how to replace it. Works great now.

Two six shooters
April 2, 2024
I purchased two of the six shooter versa launchers. Once assembled (watch YouTube videos) and placed in the field they work great. If you buy extra cables from the manufacturer you can set them up to throw three dummies in one direction and three in another direction using the two plug ports on your electronics. They are very easy to reload the 209 primers that power the launch. Much easier than Bumper BoysNow the downside. I have my truck set up for dog crates on a platform inside a camper shell. I have to take the launcher tubes off the frame to transport them, then reassemble the tubes and cables when I get to the field. Then take them apart, pack them up to transport back home. I'm looking into a hitch mount cargo carrier to transport them. Once assembled, they are quite heavy to carry out into the field. The shoulder strap isn't very helpful. I'm going to try strapping them onto a two wheel dolly to carry them. We can't use four wheelers to carry them into the field as they damage our dryer land and cover, unlike other parts of the country. So they work great, but clumsy to transport and set up.Once set up I can work multiple dogs without having to walk out into the field to reload wingers. I'll be very happy with them once I get that figured out. Keep in mind you can only use them to train with bumpers. Wingers will throw anything

4 Shot Versa Launcher
July 6, 2023
Training two dogs by myself I was looking for something that gave me more marks per set to save me some time and steps. Im happy to say the Versa Launcher is that answer. It is very well constructed, was easy to assemble and use. As the name suggests it is very versatile as there is a wide range of adjustment in the launcher tubes further diversified by the load you use to launch giving you an array of different marks fired from a single location. Or if you're teaching a single marking concept you can set all the tubes up the same and repeat the mark. The throws are very consistent. I bought the 4 shot versa launcher but have already upgraded the unit to a 6 shot. I've paired mine with Dogtra electronics as I already use them with my wingers. They've worked great with the versa launcher. This is a great unit.

Not as good as it looks!
December 28, 2022
The RRT launcher did not work out of the box. After calling the manufacture, it was determined that there was a faulty wire connection. The manufacturer sent a replacement. The launcher worked well for a few launches, then started launching more than one dummy at a time (controls were temperamental), then it failed again. After checking the wire connections and plugging the wire back into the electronic release, the launcher fired (nearly hitting me in the face). The launcher worked for a couple more launches then TOTALLLY failed again. The only upside was the Gun Dog Supply no-hassle return policy! I was able to return the this unusable product. Thank you Gun Dog Supply for providing excellent customer service!
