I brought this collar two years ago and it's still going strong. Easy to clean. Hasn't faded at all. The brass hardware holds up really well. I like the Honeysuckle Pink myself. Looks good on my dog, Wrinkles!

I'm a long time customer and have been really happy with their products, Gun dog supply has been my go to for supplies . I received my order very promptly and was excited to open it up. Soon as I looked at the collars (I purchased 3 collars) I was very disappointed because they were made of cheap plastic, I did think about returning them but they had name plates on them and I wasn't sure if Gun dog would take them back. So I decided to give them a try and that was a mistake, my Labrador puppy(10 months old ) ended up chewing on the collar of one of the other dogs collar.The puppy started on the other dogs collar also causing damage to it. Needless to say I think I'm going back to Orvis for their nylon dog collars which lasted me for years. Thank you Gundog for contacting me on my opinion, and yes I'll be back as a customer again. The collar arrived for our Winchester and it was better than I expected. The 1.5' width is much better than most other collars available and the blaze orange is so nice on his sedge coloring. The buckle is high quality and easily threaded with the collar. I am pretty sure that this thing will last the rest of his years.

I ordered this for my house pitbull. It is a good size for her at 55 lbs. I won't be using it for retention but just as a collar for the name plate. I had to use a razor knife to trim the bitter end. It is a rubber of some kind and cleans easy. I don't think it will hold any smell like a nylon or leather collar does. You could use it for leash work if you have a well mannered dog.

Just a fast review of this collar. I had purchased this collar a couple of years ago and it held up extremely well for the most part. My 104 pound Chesapeake and his excitement though stretched and pulled one of the rivets loose around the ring that holes the dog tags. So, and because I like this collar so much, I ordered a new one. They had it engraved and in my mailbox within a week it seems like. I've never talked to the people at gundog supply but ordering online was easy and no problems. Highly recommend this collar for those hunting in the field I need a strong collar that doesn't stay wet and easy to clean.
