Heavy Wooden Force Training Buck

This is a great tool. The dog will pick it up and hold it properly

I was looking for a heavier training buck and add variety for training. This works great! I've dropped this buck multiple times and it is holding up. Definitely durable.

I let my boy hold this block while going on a walk and performing drills. His good hold with this item is translating to other items.

The buck is great, it just isn't particularly heavy enough so 3 instead of 5 stars. The square ends keep it from rolling which is a nice feature when training the fetch command.

The assembly is a bit flimsy. Staples holding it together. Seems to work fine but a little bit of glue would probably ensure longer life.

I'm going through force fetch right now, and this helped me reinforce that fetch means to pick up anything, not just what the dog feels like picking up. After I got the dog holding and fetching bumpers from the ground, I switched to the training buck. He held it just fine, but didn't want to fetch it. That allowed me to use an ear pinch to help him understand he needs to fetch whether he wants to or not.

Works great for force fetching!
