Gun Dog Supply is a dogs best friend

i wanted to thank Steve Snell and his staff for having such a wonderful company. They have been my go to business for all my dog supplies for over twenty years. I recently just obtained my 8th black lab pup, Brody. Excited about training a new little guy, I decided to order up some new training dummies. On the Gun Dogs site was a promotion for puppies. A collar with a engraving plate for $5. I thought it was wonderful, Gun Dog would do that. I ordered one up along with a six pack of dummies and within a couple of days they were on our door step. My wife and I buy these collars for our GSP for the past 8 years. They last a minimum of 2 years without much wear and tear. Usually by year three they have become faded and worn through from normal everyday wear and tear. For the price, there collars cannot be beat. Great dependable product.

Got this collar for a 3 1/2 month old golden retriever puppy while he grows into his full size. Great quality, love the tag - it is everything it claims to be! Will certainly replace with a bigger version of the same collar once he grows out of this one.

I like this collar. The color is nice and construction is sturdy and of high quality with attention to detail. I appreciate the name plate. I bent it so it rounded to my dog's neck which worked fine. It is too thick for my 8-week old puppy's neck (goldendoodle about 11 pounds) so I will have to save it for when she grows bigger so you might want to consider a smaller width if you're ordering for a little dog - my inexperience showing (=

Although the feel and structure of this collar seems sturdy, the color is very "odd." My husband and sons thought it looked rather "girly," so it does not seem appropriate for our male yellow Lab. We will not be using it, but felt it was just easier to order a (Gun Dog Supply) nylon replacement collar, rather than to send this one back for credit. The metal plates on the collar are fantastic. Please note that I have ordered many collars for our previous Labs from Gun Dog Supply and have always been very pleased with them. This particular collar was just not what I was expecting.
