Measure Your Dog's Neck to ensure a proper fit.

• Use a measuring tape, cloth tape, or a piece of string (and measure the string).
  
• Measure your dog's neck where you want the collar to rest on the neck AND at the appropriate tightness.
  
• Once you have a measurement, refer to the Guide below to find the appropriate size.
  
• The neck size (NS) represents the measurement from the center of the buckle to the fourth adjustment hole.
  
• You can adjust 1-inch longer or 3-inches shorter. Keep in mind that using the shorter adjustment holes will leave more collar strap extending past the buckle.

Fantastic collar

We recently had a snowstorm that broke several trees on our property. Unbeknownst to us, a branch had landed on part of fence, creating the perfect out for our dogs. One came back that day, but our second, younger dog did not return. I posted her everywhere and on the third day I received a call from a gentleman who managed to get her into his car. He called me from the information that was on the collar. I'm so glad I made this purchase for a growing puppy. I have been buying these collars for almost a decade now once our dogs were full grown. I have just placed an order for the next size up. It is never our intention for our dogs to roam, but freak accidents happen and I love the peace of mind I have knowing my number is on her collar just in case.

All my working sheepdogs wear these. Great quality. I always get the second name plate put on.

• Even though I like the center ring, sometimes the seams at that point can have a rough edge that chaffs on certain dogs coats.

Perfect Puppy Collar

The Day Glow Standard Collar fits great! I love that it came with a free name tag that is attached to the collar itself (no ringing or jingling). I purchased one in pink, orange and yellow (got to match my dog's harnesses) for my mini goldendoodle. She looks good, it doesn't drive her crazy with noise and the price is amazing!!! I would definitely recommend these collars!

The collar is exactly what I wanted for training my puppy. I wanted a collar without a center ring. So,it would easily slide around his neck. Plus it comes with a brass name plate.

Quality product but not the color shown

I recently bought two very well-made dog collars. I am happy with the quality but the red and green collars I received do NOT match the colors shown in the ad. I definitely got "Day Glow" red and green but not the same calm red/burgundy and forest green shown in the ad. When I ordered, I thought "day glow" perhaps referred to the collars being light reflective. I'm keeping the collars because I know they will last the length of my dogs' lives but am not happy with the almost neon collars they're wearing.Gun Dog Supply products are all good quality but please be more careful. Make sure that the display pictures actually represent the product that you send to the customer.Gun Dog Supply will remain my favorite shopping place for doggy needs but I will be more careful about choosing colors.

Have many of this same collar. My dogs can't destroy them. They may get ratty around the ends, as the Borders love to play with each other pretty rough stuff. The only thing that we have to change is the size, as they wear this from puppy hood till full size. Need more colors, as I have one in every color. Moms and pups are getting color coordinated.

I wanted a collar for my pup that would be both sturdy and visible in the field. This collar certainly fits the bill.No flimsy plastic like the hardware on collars at the big box stores and the coated material is easy to spot at a distance or in the brush while the green is still pleasant to look at.The brass plate with my contact information is easy to read and there is no annoying jingle or anything to catch on like you get with traditional dog tags.This is an American made collar with a tag that costs less than what you kind find in stores. It seems like a no brained to me.I recommend this collar and will buying another when my dog outgrows his.
