Measure Your Dog's Neck to ensure a proper fit.

• Use a measuring tape, cloth tape, or a piece of string (and measure the string).
  
• Measure your dog's neck where you want the collar to rest on the neck AND at the appropriate tightness.
  
• Once you have a measurement, refer to the Guide below to find the appropriate size.
  
• The neck size (NS) represents the measurement from the center of the buckle to the fourth adjustment hole.
  
• You can adjust 1-inch longer or 3-inches shorter. Keep in mind that using the shorter adjustment holes will leave more collar strap extending past the buckle.

This collar is perfect. It looks good, and the waterproof nature of it prevents it from smelling bad. They are also much stronger than your nylon or fabric style collars. The buckles are bomb proof. I ordered the tag plate also, and it's nice to not be woken up at night to my dog playing jingle bells with his tags when he shakes his head. I do wish there was just one more line of text. It was hard to squeeze in the rabies vac info, but I got it in. You get 4 lines of text, and it very legible. You won't be disappointed with this collar or GunDog; good customer service and was shipped and received quickly.

This is the second collar I've ordered from Gun Dog Supply, the first lasting through 4 years of puppyhood, lots of salt water, and exposure to the brush country of South Texas. The only reason I had to order a new one was that he'd finally outgrown it! They are long lasting, wonderful products. Both times I have ordered from GDS, the collar has shipped almost immediately even with the added customization. Cannot recommend GDS or their products enough.

Really has been a part of our household for the past 4 years since we rescued him. First thing we did was to purchase him a new reflective green collar from Cabelas. After 4 years of being a crazy black lab doing crazy black lab things, he wore his out. Cabelas stopped supplying these type of collars in green so we tried something new. We love it. Very well constructed and the embroidered name tag is as industrial as the rest of the collar. Initially there was a supply problem and gundogsupply didn't have one in stock. They instantly kept us up to date as to when we might expect Reilly's new collar. After 4 years with his old collar we figured we could wait a little while longer. It was less than two weeks later and he received his new collar. Going forward we are going to support you and your products. Thank you.

This collar is awesome! the color is so vibrant, and it has a WIDE reflective strip. Not those 2 little strips. We have a black GSP who likes to go visiting whenever he gets out. So, it will be easier to see him in the dark with the Wide reflective strip. The buckle type closure is exactly what we were looking for. We would recommend this collar to anyone. I've ordered several GDS collars, I love them, they're perfect, reasonably priced, yet to see one 'worn out'. Our current oldest still in use are 8 and 9 years old.
