Dakota 283 G3 Framed Door Large Dog Kennel with DakotaGuard

This is my 3rd Dakota kennel. They are a quality product. I like the metal/lockable doors. They are sturdy and no worries with getting chewed up.

Matches my truck and the medium fits perfectly in the back area of my extended cab 1/2 ton Ram. Solid built, easy to clean out and my chessie is happy and comfortable!

Had to return the first one delivered. Turn around less than a week. Replacement fit and finish first class. Solid! Gun Dog guided me through the process. Can't say thank you enough for their support. Great company.

Fits perfect in the back of a F150 6' bed with a topper and decked draw system. I dont think I would ever use the Lock and Key system on it but the doors are nice and rigid as well.

Thrilled with my Dakota kennel except the door won't lock!! Disappointed. Having spent over $400 the bolt doesn't extend far enough into the strike plate toallow the key to turn the lock. Hopefully Dakota will contact me with a solution.

For the traveling wing shooter this crate is terrific. It's very solid and strong but not unbearable to carry into the hotel. Great piece of mind to know my dog is safe behind me in the jeep. No flimsy gate or holes to poke through. Just a solid metal latch. Simple and strong. I have a 30lb American Brittany and a medium is perfect.

Love the handle. Much lighter and easier to move around than the Gunner. Our 58 pound lqb fits great in the medium. Great kennel. Would definitely buy another one

I really like the Dakota 283. After listening to Tyler Webster podcast and hearing them as the one of the sponsors I wanted to try this kennel out. I also have the Ruffland Kennel and this Dakota 283 kennel is such a better product. I really like the door and the fact it has a lock on it as well.

This crate is heavy duty and everything fits and works well. Hardware and materials exude quality. But perhaps most importantly, my one year old (today :) Black Lab, HARO, likes it! I highly recommend.

Very solid and well made

Rugged well built. Medium is a great fit for my growing Vizsla. Will work fine when she is full grown. This crate fits my Toyota 4 runner, above the safe in the back

Ordered our new crate and 7 days later it arrived. What a beautiful crate it is. Well built and it is better than I could have ever imagined. Thank you Dakota 283 for restoring my faith in the manufacturing world and it is American Made.

We decided to buy this xl kennel for our 2 beagles. We love the sturdiness, durability, and easy to clean benefits this kennel offers. The xl is large enough for both our dogs to lay side by side and tall enough for them to sit or move if they need to.

Was looking for a good quality kennel without buying the mercedes. Landed on the Dakota 283.Bought a medium and a large. Very happy with the quality. The door hardware seems top notch. Latch seems very solid.If your looking at kennels the Dakota is the mid price option. I am very happy with the purchases.It will be a very very long time before I need a new one. I would definitely recommend this kennel. In my opinion spend a little more (cry once) the first time and you will be done for a long time.
