I got a phone call this morning from a lady asking me if I owned a red hound dog named Lucy. When I replied yes, she said that Lucy was at her house. We live out in the woods and about a mile from a two-lane highway. Lucy had crossed the highway and was down by the river! I drove to the lady's house and picked up Lucy. Only because Lucy had the really nice engraved name / address / phone tag riveted on her collar (purchased from Gun Dog Supply about six weeks ago) was the lady able to call me and I could bring Lucy home safe and sound.
