Great Collar

Upgraded to the 282C with the addition of our second dog. Previously had the 280C, which has been a fantastic collar for the past 4 years (still functions like new). I use the collar for waterfowl and upland hunting along with training. Highly recommend this collar and Gun Dog Supply. Gun Dog Supply always has competitive prices and fast shipping!

Great Light Weight Training Collar

The collars are working great. The "pager" vibration is strong and loud enough you could call it a tone too. The stimulation is strong enough to turn my big running GSP's (50 lb. dogs) when necessary. After one charge, the batteries lasted for almost 3 weeks (using them every other day for a couple hours) before needing another charge. They are light weight and I've used them in very cold snowy conditions with no problems. Even with snow/ice around the collar on the dogs neck, they continued to work. One negative issue for me is the "on" "off" magnetic switch for the collars. It takes some getting used to, and I have had the collars turn back on without having the transmitter close. I'm getting used to it though and have to keep the collars and the transmitter completely separated when handling so it doesn't happen. Turning up and down the sensitivity takes some time and cannot be adjusted separately for the two collars. Good product and is working well on my dogs.

I like this mostly, just wish the screen was lit to show the level of "stimulus" better. also I have to re select the stimulus level when going from one dog to the other. At night this is hard.
