"The Hound Heater Classic heater is doing a great job of keeping my dog comfortable."
By: Pattigo In MS
Family pet. The Hound Heater Classic heater is doing a great job of keeping my dog comfortable. The temperatures the last few nights have been really cold but her house is comfortably warm. I don't have to worry about her being cold nor do I have to worry about my doghouse catching fire.

"This little heater seems to work fairly well - easy to install."

Coonhound. Family pet. This little heater seems to work fairly well - easy to install. It was perhaps a little small for my doghouse but seems to be providing enough heat similar to installing a medium watt light bulb inside of the house.

Powered by a 95 watt, 50,000 hour replaceable heating element. No emitters required!
The Hound Heater Classic stays at about 130 degrees and will heat an average size dog house (typically 48" L X 24" T X 24" W -- approx. 16 cubic feet). At 0 degrees F outside, the house will stay around 40 degrees F. If you need to warm a larger area, multiple heaters may be installed.
The best part is it is safe and easy to install. When properly installed in an upper corner of the house, it doesn't take up any laying space for your dog. The galvanized metal housing is super strong and will last for many years, unlike traditional mat heaters. 6 foot power cord. 1 year manufacturer's warranty.
WALL MOUNT ONLY. Not intended for floor or ceiling mounting. Failure to mount properly could result in damage to the Heater / Dog House.
1. Measure down the wall 7" and over 7" from a top corner of the dog house.
2. Drill a 7/8" to 1" dia. hole at the previous located mark.
3. Run Hound Heater cord through your hole.
4. Mount 4 screws in the base of the Hound Heater.
5. Completed installation.
