    • COLLAR SIZING MADE EASY

    These are NECK SIZE COLLARS which means the dog's measured neck size IS the collar size.

    Measure Your Dog's Neck to ensure a proper fit.

    • Use a measuring tape, cloth tape, or a piece of string (and measure the string).
    • Measure your dog's neck where you want the collar to rest on the neck AND at the appropriate tightness.
    • Once you have a measurement, refer to the Guide below to find the appropriate size.
    • The neck size (NS) represents the measurement from the center of the buckle to the fourth adjustment hole.
    • You can adjust 1-inch longer or 3-inches shorter. Keep in mind that using the shorter adjustment holes will leave more collar strap extending past the buckle.

    This is the second collar purchased for this pup. The first one was well made and functional. This one is deluxe. All the tags can be fastened to the center ring which leaves the D-ring available for the leash. The buckle lies flat against the collar. The finish on the leather and brass fittings is jewelry quality. This collar is "Tom's Pick."

    Received collars pretty promptly. Very attractive and well made. The engraving could be a bit clearer but gets the job done. Stiff but they will loosen up.

    I recently bought a Gun Dog collar for my 6-month-old puppy. I figured it was time for him to leave behind his little nylon puppy collar, and get something a little more sturdy. My dog's neck is 13" around, so I bought the 16NS to give him some room to grow. I love it! My dog is just a household pet, so the collar is not experiencing too much wear and tear, but this collar seems sturdy enough to last many years. The price is great (nearly identical collars are as much as $50 from other places), and I love the personalized nameplate! The ring in the middle is a very convenient place to quickly clip the leash, and the weight of the buckle on the opposite side always keeps the ring on top. It keeps me from groping around on a squirrely puppy trying to find the collar ring. I also bought a 4+1/2 foot matching leash, and a 4+3/4 inch double-end snap as a safety measure should his pinch collar break. My puppy looks so cool with his matching Gun Dog accessories.     Sturdy, well-made. The ring connecting the two pieces of leather makes it nice and flexible. I think the D-ring to clip the leash on to could be just a wee bit bigger and it would be just right. It's a little tight to clip on to but doable. I've received compliments on the collar. People like the attached name plate.

    Bought this collar for my vizsla to match one I bought for my other dog. This collar is very comfortable for her, it’s easy to keep clean, and I love that there are no tags that dangle! Plus it looks awesome!! Would definitely recommend over the nylon collars from the pet store.

    I bought the 1 inch collar for my Border Collie girl but it was a bit too big. I use it on my male now. The 3/4 inch collar is a much better fit for the girl. She wears it while we travel and at herding lessons. It has softened up with just a few wears. Very nice collar,

    I saw a similar one at Cabella's. With shipping, I paid about the same as theirs, however yours had the name tag. This eliminated the dangling name tag I was using. Excellent quality and my wife said it looks good.

    The collar looks and feels great. The leather is thick and the brass name plate eliminates that jingling from the typical dog tags. The only downside is that I've had to use a hair tie to secure the tail end of the collar so it's not sticking out and getting in the way. Overall, I love this collar and have received many compliments already.

    I love these collars, the quality is the best I have ever seen. I love the leather. My dogs like the water and this isn't best for real leather, but I oil it. My opinion is that it is worth the trouble. The collars become part of the dog's body and pay them the respect that they earn. I'll never buy another collar. Thanks for the service and quality.
