Hunts. Family pet. I do not have pigeons close by, but I set it out near my birdfeeder, and I'm catching Ring Neck doves. I make my GWP pup whoa in the yard, and I toss the dove and make her whoa as it's flying off. I will be getting to an area with pigeons soon.

Wirehaired pointing griffon. Hunts. Family pet. I have had the trap for about a week now and have caught three pigeons in it. Took me some time to figure out where to put it and how to get them to go in. The trap works great though.

Hunts. Family pet. Competes. I put this trap out the first day I had it. I put crack corn in the trap and immediately I had 20 pigeons around the trap. It was a place where patients were, so I knew I would have this is success. I left a trap there for 3 hours and when I came back I had 11 pigeons in the trap. It seemed like there was room for more if I would have gave them more time to get in.I never had to bother doors open to let them get used to the trap I place it out, and it worked just fine. I would definitely recommend this track I think it is a great value. The traffic is pretty sturdy and when the pigeons tried to poke their heads out of the hole to escape The Doors didn't bend and remained in good condition. I have had at least 50 pages in the trap and the trap still looks brand new.

Family pet. I was looking for a solution to the problem of pigeons in my barn sharing too much of the chicken feed. The trap worked great to start with, but I think I caught all the stupid birds in the first three days. Now I have to alternate days of wiring the doors open, so they are comfortable going in and out for feed. It has small enough doors that the chickens don't go in. The top trap door makes it easy to take the birds out.

Hunts. After a few failures to catch pigeons I did a little research to get some pointers. If you are setting the trap outside put one live Pigeon in the trap along with seed to attract more. Or use cut out silhouettes on popsicle sticks. My best result are by setting trap in shops and barns were the pigeons are roosting in the rafters. Then you don't need a live Pigeon or cutouts. Just some seed in the trap and by the doors. I have had the trap so full there isn't room for a single extra bird to enter.

Had to put a trip wire on the door leaving the door propped 1/3 open, so birds would go in. Caught 15 this way. When their back hits the door, the trip wire falls closing the door.

Hunts. I haven't had a chance to use the trap yet. The construction looks very good. I like the fact it has two doors, one on each end and a door on top to remove the pigeons. It has features I like that aren't really visible in the examples shown.

Hunts. Family pet. Good value. Works great. Could have been higher gauge wire, but this is still a nice trap for money spent.
